The cherries are grown on a trellis system and range from 50cm above the ground to about 7 foot, so very accessible for all ages.
They are grown under covers but the alley ways (where you walk) will get muddy if it rains and you will get wet, the alleys are mainly grass and can be uneven.
Cash and card accepted
No dogs
We would love you to bring your own bowl/ punnet / vessel to pick into. We will also have punnets for sale. (If you bring your own we will weigh it on entry and deduct weight from final weight).
We can advise of the best way to harvest your cherries in order to retain freshness for longer:
Pick with the stem attached.
Place them gently into your container
We advise no more than three deep to avoid bruising
Please be aware you will be expected to pay for all the cherries you pick, so only pick the amount you would like to buy.
Please be careful of the trees, cherries are sensitive and easily damaged, be aware of next years fruit buds and just pick the cherries, we will show you how.
No climbing on the trellis or trees.
It is strongly recommended to wash all your fruit before consumption
